What makes this different from other telemedicine services? Our membership emphasizes continuity and direct access. Through Balo Wellness, you’ll consistently work with me — the same Nurse Practitioner who knows your history and goals. As a concierge-focused online service, we prioritize long-term provider–client relationships and direct contact with your clinician.
How will I be monitored while on therapy? Monitoring typically includes scheduled laboratory testing and virtual follow-up visits to evaluate treatment response and adjust medications as necessary. Follow-up visits are more frequent during the initial phase to ensure safety and efficacy; if your clinical response and labs remain stable, follow-up intervals may be lengthened in agreement with you.
What about a history of cancer or other hormone-sensitive conditions? If you have a history of hormone-sensitive cancer, we’ll discuss the risks and benefits together and work closely with your oncology team. In most cases we’ll need clearance from your oncologist before beginning any hormone treatment.
Do you accept insurance? No — our care is offered through a monthly membership and is not billed through insurance.
Are lab tests covered by insurance? Some lab tests may be covered if specific medical criteria are met, but coverage varies by plan. Clients are responsible for confirming benefits with their insurance provider. Our office does not handle prior authorizations or verify coverage, and any uncovered costs remain the client’s responsibility.
Can I cancel at any time? Yes—you can pause future automatic payments at any time. No fees, no commitment. Please note the current month’s charge is non-refundable.
