General Program Terms
Vaginal estrogen care is offered in structured 3-month medical care programs to allow for appropriate evaluation, treatment initiation, and assessment of response.
This is a 3-month medical care commitment and is not intended as a one-month trial.
Medical consultation, treatment planning, and clinical oversight fees are non-refundable once services have been rendered.
Continuation beyond the initial 3-month period is optional and requires a separate purchase.
Compounded Vaginal Estrogen
Compounded vaginal estrogen is prepared specifically for the patient and coordinated through a licensed U.S. compounding pharmacy.
Once compounded medication has been dispensed or shipped, program fees are non-refundable, as compounded prescriptions cannot be returned or reused.
If cancellation occurs before compounded medication fulfillment, a partial refund may be considered at the provider’s discretion, less the cost of services already rendered.
FDA-Approved Vaginal Estrogen (Retail Pharmacy)
FDA-approved vaginal estrogen prescriptions are sent to the patient’s chosen retail pharmacy.
Medication costs are billed directly by the pharmacy and are subject to the pharmacy’s own dispensing and return policies.
Insurance coverage, copays, and pricing are determined solely by the patient’s insurer and pharmacy and are not controlled by this practice.
Local, Non-Systemic Support for Vaginal & Urinary Health
Many women notice changes in vaginal comfort long before menopause — dryness, irritation, discomfort with intimacy, or frequent urinary symptoms that seem to come out of nowhere.
These changes are not a normal part of aging. They are often a sign that vaginal tissue is no longer receiving enough estrogen.
Vaginal estrogen is a simple, local therapy designed to restore tissue health where symptoms are happening, without affecting the rest of the body.
What Happens When Estrogen Declines
Estrogen helps keep vaginal and urinary tissues:
Soft and elastic
Well-lubricated
Thick and resilient
Protected by a healthy microbiome
As estrogen levels fall — during perimenopause, menopause, postpartum, breastfeeding, or hormonal suppression — these tissues can become thinner, drier, and more fragile.
This can lead to symptoms many women quietly live with for years.
Symptoms Vaginal Estrogen Can Help Improve
Vaginal dryness or irritation
Burning or rawness
Pain or discomfort with intimacy
Recurrent urinary tract infections
Urinary urgency or frequent urination
Micro-tears or bleeding after sex
Feeling less stretch or comfort vaginally
If any of these sound familiar, vaginal estrogen may help.
How Vaginal Estrogen Is Different
Vaginal estrogen is not the same as systemic hormone therapy.
It uses a very low dose, applied directly to the vaginal tissue, to support:
Tissue thickness and elasticity
Natural moisture and lubrication
Healthy vaginal pH
A balanced vaginal microbiome
Stronger bladder and urethral support
Because it works locally, it does not significantly raise estrogen levels in the bloodstream.
What About Safety?
Low-dose vaginal estrogen has been extensively studied and is widely supported by medical organizations.
Research shows:
Blood estrogen levels remain low
It does not behave like systemic hormone therapy
It has not been shown to increase breast cancer mortality
For many women, this makes vaginal estrogen one of the safest and most effective options for long-term vaginal and urinary health.
Who Can Use Vaginal Estrogen?
Vaginal estrogen may be appropriate if you are experiencing symptoms — regardless of age.
Women in their 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond often benefit, especially if symptoms are affecting comfort, intimacy, or quality of life.
It can be used:
On its own
Alongside hormone therapy
Even if you are not ready for systemic hormones
