Initial Consultation $180
Applied toward your first month if you enroll within 30 days.
If this sounds like you, hormones may be part of the problem
Many women begin exploring hormone therapy for perimenopause or menopause when they notice symptoms such as:
✔ brain fog or memory lapses
✔ fatigue or low energy
✔ sleep disruption or waking at night
✔ weight gain despite healthy habits
✔ mood changes, anxiety, or irritability
✔ hot flashes or night sweats
✔ low libido or vaginal dryness
✔ difficulty recovering from exercise
Hormonal changes during perimenopause and menopause are often the missing piece — and they’re something we can actually address. A medical consultation can help determine whether hormones, metabolic factors, thyroid function, or other health changes may be contributing to these symptoms.

How Hormones Affect Your Body
Hormones are your body’s internal messengers. They influence how you feel every day — your energy, sleep, mood, metabolism, weight, focus, and overall sense of well-being.
As women move through perimenopause and menopause, hormone levels naturally begin to shift. For some women, the changes are mild. For others, they can feel sudden and disruptive — like your body no longer responds the way it used to.
Personalized hormone therapy can help bring your body back into balance, so you can feel more like yourself again — not a “new normal” you never asked for.
Key Hormones That Affect How You Feel
1.Estrogen
Supports bone health, heart health, brain function, and skin integrity.
When estrogen levels decline, women may notice:
Hot flashes or night sweats
Vaginal dryness or discomfort
Mood changes or irritability
Brain fog or memory lapses
2.Progesterone
Plays a key role in sleep quality, emotional balance, and regulating the effects of estrogen.
Lower progesterone levels are often associated with:
Trouble falling or staying asleep
Increased anxiety or restlessness
Irregular or heavy cycles during perimenopause
Many women find that bioidentical progesterone support significantly improves sleep and overall calm.
3.Testosterone
Yes — women need testosterone too. It supports libido, muscle tone, bone strength, motivation, and mental clarity.
Low levels may contribute to:
Fatigue or low drive
Reduced sexual desire
Brain fog
Loss of strength or stamina
What Happens When Hormones Are Balanced
When hormones are supported and brought into a healthy range through personalized hormone therapy, many women experience:
More consistent energy throughout the day
Better sleep and improved recovery
Clearer thinking and improved focus
More stable moods
Improved libido and sexual comfort
Easier weight management
Healthier skin, hair, and overall vitality
These benefits are commonly seen with bioidentical hormone therapy (BHRT) and other evidence-based approaches tailored to the individual.
A Thoughtful, Personalized Approach to Care
Hormone therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all — and it shouldn’t be. Care may include FDA-approved medications or, when appropriate, compounded bioidentical hormones, which are structurally identical to the hormones your body naturally produces.
All treatment decisions are guided by:
Your medical history
Your symptoms
Laboratory results
Current clinical guidelines
When prescribed thoughtfully and monitored regularly, hormone therapy can be a safe and effective way to support both current symptoms and long-term health.
Is Hormone Therapy Right for You?
Every woman’s journey is different. During your consultation, we take the time to understand your story — not just your lab numbers.
Together, we:
Review your health history and symptoms
Discuss your goals and lifestyle
Determine whether hormone support is appropriate for you right now
If hormone therapy isn’t the best first step, we’ll talk through other supportive options. The goal is always informed, compassionate care — never pressure.

Wellness by NP | Renew You operates as a cash-pay practice and does not accept insurance. This model allows for personalized care without insurance-driven restrictions, delays, or rushed visits.
We do not bill Medicare, Medicaid, or private insurance plans and do not submit insurance claims, prior authorizations, appeals, or insurance-coded documentation.
Some laboratory testing may be billed through insurance when available. If insurance coverage is not available, discounted self-pay lab options are typically offered.
Because this practice does not provide insurance-coded documentation, insurance coverage for prescribed medications is not guaranteed. Patients who choose to use insurance for FDA-approved medications filled at retail pharmacies assume the risk of coverage denial.
When clinically appropriate, prescriptions may also be coordinated through trusted U.S.-based compounding pharmacies to allow for personalized dosing and convenient home delivery.
Wellness by NP provides evidence-based women’s hormone care, including perimenopause and menopause treatment, hormone replacement therapy, and testosterone therapy when clinically appropriate, serving patients in Sarasota, Bradenton, and Venice, Florida, with telehealth available statewide for eligible patients.
